The location is convenient, but the service and cleanliness need work. My main frustration was housekeeping: I put the cleaning sign on the door and told reception I wanted the room cleaned, yet it was still untouched when I came back. Trash piled up and we had no fresh towels. Reception said their note showed the sign as do not disturb, perhaps someone had flipped it, and that no cleaning staff were available that evening. On arrival, I was first assigned a room that hadn't been cleaned. Breakfast was okay, though the choices stayed much the same each day.

The place grew on us. While we were there, we couldn't wait to move out, but now we miss it. We made our own evening walking routes by the canal and to the nearest village. Our studio had a built-in kitchen that covered pretty much everything we needed. For more than two months, this was home for me and my wife. The kind reception and kitchen staff made us feel at home, and we're very grateful to all of them for being warm and responsive to our requests. A business is made by its people, and Ibis La Louviere brought good conditions together with kind people. Thanks to everyone!

I've stopped here a couple of times in one week while traveling toward the Germany and Switzerland border. The staff were great, the rooms clean, and breakfast good with plenty to eat. There isn't anywhere to eat within walking distance, which is the drawback, but a few minutes' drive gets you into town with options from fast food to sit-down restaurants.

A decent basic hotel for a short visit, with reasonably good rooms, a good breakfast, and enough parking. It was a bonus that our two dogs could stay in the room for an extra charge.
