The breakfast was very good, and the beds were really comfortable, though the odd duvet covers have shrunk and make the duvets bunch up inside. Our room had no air conditioning, and I assume they’re all the same. There were no fly screens either, so I imagine it gets very hot in summer if you can’t open the windows because of how close the river is. Dinner choices were limited, as others have said, so we had the set menu. It was okay, but the duck breast was rather uninteresting and under-rendered. The old-school waiter was charming. Tea or coffee in the room would have been nice. The location is nice, with an interesting mix of old and new.

The spa was just what we needed after hiking, with several beautiful routes starting right by the hotel. We brought our medium-sized dog into the restaurant and had no trouble at all, this place is extremely dog-friendly. They also handle vegetarian meals well, especially if you let them know beforehand. Breakfast had lots to choose from, and the restaurant was lovely. The hotel itself feels elegant and cozy, and the staff were really sweet and helpful.

Dinner was the highlight of our weekend, with well-prepared dishes and a thoughtful wine selection. Breakfast had the usual range of options, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout. It was a great little escape for relaxing and recharging, with excellent service. Highly recommended for a peaceful break.

The breakfast was awesome, and the staff were friendly. There’s parking, a restaurant, and service by the pool, and the hotel is super dog-friendly. Great location and facilities too. The only small snag was a slightly faulty balcony door, but it didn’t bother us much.

Breakfast was very good, with plenty of choice. Our bathroom had been updated, though the upstairs rooms felt like stepping back into the 90s, while downstairs looked really nice. The room faced a busy fast road, and with no air-conditioning, leaving the door open for air wasn’t appealing. The single beds were extremely narrow. The bar staff didn’t speak English, and the older man kept saying yes while bringing the wrong drinks.
