On the afternoon we arrived in Belgium, the owner canceled our one-night booking at 15:30 and gave the room to someone who had booked two nights. We had to find another hotel late that afternoon. They told me it wasn't their problem. It felt like they cared only about making more money and not at all about the trouble this caused us. A very bad experience.

The place itself was exceptionally good, and I’d gladly recommend it. Breakfast, though, was quite limited and had no hot food like omelets. There were yogurts, pastries, cheese, and ham.

I was close to the castle and only visited the outside. The place looked very nice and clean, and it was quiet enough to feel at home, a perfect spot to visit and stay overnight. I called the woman in charge to ask if I could take photos, and she kindly let me enjoy the moment.

Danielle and the others were wonderful, and we enjoyed our stay. It was quiet and well placed for exploring the region. There isn't much in the village apart from a smoky café with French karaoke, but plenty of restaurants are only 7 km away. You can hear the highway a bit.

The owner was a lovely host and made everyone feel welcome, almost like distant relatives visiting. Our room was clean, roomy, and nicely presented. The building had been a barn or farmhouse, and little traces of its old structure gave the room a rustic, cosy feel that I really liked. Food was the one downside. There was only one option for dinner and breakfast, and I have food allergies. The B&B is literally in the middle of nowhere, with only farmhouses around, so I went a bit hungry. Apart from that, I’d recommend it for a weekend escape.
