Eurotel

We were two in room 11. The room was comfortable and well equipped, with a roomy wardrobe, desk, somewhere to dry towels, several pillows, a kettle and an effective fan. The bathroom was a good size too. The room itself is small, but the warm welcome and care from the management and friendly staff made up for that, and I thought the hotel was good value. It's well run, centrally located near the river, and other guests kept quiet even when coming in late. Bring earplugs for the traffic outside. Breakfast is continental, with a great selection. Being able to rent a private garage nearby is a real help in Liège, where parking is a disaster. We'll be back.

The staff made this stay for me. They were so helpful about checking whether the trains would be running the next day and were ready to assist with anything else I needed. They spoke little English and my French isn't great, but we managed without a problem. I had to stay overnight in Liege unexpectedly after my plane made an emergency stop there, and booked without expecting much. The room was a pleasant surprise, clean and comfortable, though the hotel is small, the entrance feels a bit odd rather than like a traditional lobby, and the exterior isn't especially nice. The breakfast was FABULOUS, with any kind of croissant you could want and great coffee and OJ. The rooms are large, there's an adjustable heater if you get cold, and the city center is a 10-15 minute walk away. I hope I won't need to come back to Liege soon, but if I do, I'll stay here again!

The owner was super friendly, and our room was beautiful with a cute view of the Maas.

The hotel is small, but spotless and really well organized. The woman who welcomed us was lovely and treated us very well. It's a little outside the center, though only a 10-minute walk gets you there. I would definitely stay again.
