Liv Ge Youth Hostel

We were a family of six and had a good stay. It's all pretty basic, but good. I'd recommend the place.

The building and lobby are great, and the location is quite good. The rooms, though, are clean but small, and breakfast was poor. Even in a private twin room, you have to make your own beds, and no towels are provided. You also have to strip the beds and take the linen out at the end.

I had a really nice stay at this lovely place just outside the city centre. The room was spacious and pleasant, though it could have been cleaner. I also missed the busy hostel atmosphere, maybe because I stayed from Sunday to Monday.

I liked it so much I extended my stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the view from the windows was lovely. The four-bed dorm was really comfortable: the steel bunks were steady and quiet, each bed had a locker that locked, and the white sheets and pillowcases were crisp and clean. Downstairs there are comfy couches, tables, chairs, pool tables, a snack and drink bar, vending machine, and communal kitchen. The bathrooms have separate showers, toilets, and basins, and I never had to wait. Breakfast was the best I've had on my trip in Belgium, across six hostels.
