Villa Helena

We came for the Brussels 20k run and had a far better stay than we expected. The room was big, the bed comfortable, and the whole house was exceptionally clean. Breakfast was wonderful, with fresh homemade bread and jam every morning, and the gardens were lovely. We couldn't find a single fault. Thanks for helping make our time in Belgium so enjoyable.

The hosts were so friendly and helpful. I slept comfortably, and the garden was peaceful. Breakfast was excellent too.

There are plenty of walks nearby through a stunning landscape, and the garden is lovely to spend time in when the weather's good. For a rainy day, there's lots of reading material. The B&B is in a beautiful, quiet green setting, still close to Leuven. Our spacious room was beautifully decorated with care and exceptionally clean. The bathroom nightlight was a handy touch. The hosts are charming and spoil you with homemade bread and rolls, jams, fresh fruit salad, yogurt with tasty granola, and fresh eggs from their chickens. Gluten-free breakfasts are readily available as well. Definitely worth visiting.

I haven't stayed at the B&B myself, though I've visited the house before. It's close to cycling and walking routes, about 10 km from Leuven city center, and has a beautiful garden for relaxing. The rooms are spotless, bicycles are available to rent, and breakfast is generous every time. The hostess is sweet and welcoming, and makes the most delicious cakes. Highly recommended.
