You can turn up and rent a boat without booking ahead or paying a deposit or extra fees. The center is a lovely spot to unwind, and there's a grill area with a tent near the marina for team or company events. Public transport could be an issue, and the website is only in Dutch, though Google Translate helped me. Good for beginner sailors and anyone who enjoys being on the water.
I've rented here many times. The boats are in good shape, and the staff are very helpful. It's a good option if you know how to sail but are happy to teach yourself. There's also a nice terrace where you can have a beer.
We booked two large boats for €172 each so eight of us could spend a sunny day out together. When we arrived, the company said one boat was broken and they couldn't provide what we'd booked. They gave us a much smaller boat instead, and the woman said we'd get a discount for the change. At the end of the day we were charged for two large boats, with just €25 taken off. They made the mistake and we paid for it, without even getting an apology. Really bad service.
Sailing here is great, and there's a nice drink to enjoy afterwards.
The equipment was top-notch, the service was super, and the prices felt fair. I'd happily do it again!
