I booked a room with this hotel and paid in full. Because of coronavirus, we paid £80 to move the booking to another date, but that request was declined. We lost £360 for the room as well as the extra £80. Booking.com didn’t help either.

The place was wonderfully quiet and tucked away. Our room was spacious and clean, and we got a warm welcome from a hostess who was friendly and helpful throughout. Breakfast was excellent, especially the eggs made fresh. We enjoyed our two nights and would happily recommend it.

We had a lovely view across the garden from our spacious, well-equipped room. The setting was peaceful and suited to hiking or cycling, and our hostess welcomed us warmly. Breakfast was wonderful too. We were very happy with our two-night stay and highly recommend this place.

Back for a second stay, and everything is still in great shape. The lovely hostess made us feel welcome right away. See you next time.
