Les Appartements  Vî Mâm'dî

I was extremely unhappy with the food. Our steaks all fell short, the spare ribs were mostly fat, and the fries tasted reheated. My friend got very sick after eating the ribs and later threw everything up. I’m glad I only ate a little of my own fat-covered ribs.

There was a good range of beers and the atmosphere was nice. The mussels came in a portion big enough for two, and the salad was too. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the toilets were clean.

The veal kidneys were exquisite, and the beer selection was great. The wine list was a little disappointing, but the Irish coffee was decent.

We had a frustrating time with the service. It took 20 minutes just to order drinks, then another hour for the food. Even with plenty of staff on duty, everything was slow and inefficient. They seemed to ignore us and other guests, got several orders wrong, and weren’t helpful when we pointed it out. The food was mediocre and touristy-priced. The garnish was four salad leaves, half a tomato and one slice of pickle, all swimming in too much balsamic dressing. The included fries were a laughably small serving, just 12 per person. We definitely wouldn’t recommend this place for a good meal or service.
