Farm Stay Luythoeve

After a grueling workweek, two colleagues and I came to Luythoeve for a weekend break. We spent our time in cozy comfort and fresh air, surrounded by quiet woods, with roads making it easy to reach. It’s now one of my favorite places for a weekend retreat. Frank welcomed us warmly and made sure we had what we needed. He even arranged the equipment for an evening barbecue. Our accommodation was a charming setup with two separate bedrooms, a shower, toilet, kitchen, and living room. He also provided plenty of wood, so we could sit by the fireplace and talk late into the night. The next morning, Frank showed us his backyard farm, home to three dogs, pigs, sheep, horses, donkeys, and chickens. He let us drive his tractor, which added a lot of fun to the visit. I especially liked playing with Amy, Sem, and Spooky, the lovely dogs. Frank and I also had some fascinating conversations about all sorts of things, which made the stay feel even more personal. The peaceful surroundings, comfortable accommodation, and Frank’s generous hospitality made it a weekend to remember.
