The beach is about a 10-minute walk away, and we were at least able to get a room. But the place felt very rustic, the sheets weren't fresh, and it hadn't been cleaned properly, with dust and cobwebs around. The shower only ran cold and there was no soap. I wouldn't recommend it unless there's nowhere else available.

The bed was so hard and noisy that we hardly dared move in case we woke the baby. The gas water heater in the bathroom kept clicking on every five minutes, and the shower only gave a trickle of hot water, so I ended up washing with cold water. There were also rattly plastic sliding doors and bare patches in the floor covering at the corners. We'd booked through Booking.com for €60, expecting a two-bedroom apartment for my wife, our baby, and me. Instead, there was just one bedroom. The owner explained that the second was behind a locked door and only opened it for groups of at least three. We let that go, even though a sofa bed would have been useful for breastfeeding. The apartment was more like a badly converted attic. It had supposedly just been cleaned, but by our standards it was filthy: dust, cobwebs, dirty windows, a dirty microwave, and mold in the corners. We skipped the restaurant because the apartment was in such a state and we were worried about getting sick. After our one-night stay, all I can say is it was a mediocre place, and worse than that.

The service was friendly and efficient, and the wine was top-notch. For €25 we got fresh mayonnaise, fresh cote d'allo sauce, perfectly grilled white and blue, and crispy hand-cut fries. Really top-notch, a real 5 stars!

The apartment was disappointing and very dirty. I wouldn't recommend it.
