Vakantiehoeve Nieuw Tempelhof

We spent a family weekend here and had a great time. The grandparents especially enjoyed it. Everyone could gather downstairs to eat, play games, chat or have a go at billiards, while the renovated upstairs rooms were beautiful. We'd happily do it again.

The rooms were in great shape, and the bathrooms and toilets were all very clean. When we first came in, the huge living room with its dining area and kitchen stood out. There were plenty of cups, plates and glasses as well. We enjoyed our weekend, though Slijpe is very quiet, with hardly a bakery and the one there isn't open on Sundays.

This was our second New Year's Eve weekend here, and everyone again thought it worked perfectly for all ages. The shared space and lovely garden gave us room to be together, and we even had a great barbecue in winter. The farmhouse felt welcoming straight away, with clear arrangements and friendly communication by email. For the price, it's hard to find another place where each family gets its own bathroom, the beds are made on arrival, and there's a good room for both adults and children. The sound insulation was handy when the little ones needed to sleep. Highly recommended!

The quiet polder setting was a real plus, and the sea nearby meant there was something for all ages to do. We spent Christmas here with five families, but the house still had plenty of space. It was practical and very well insulated: noise from downstairs barely carried upstairs, and the double doors helped keep our crying babies from disturbing others at night. The enclosed garden was useful for letting the lively kids outside now and then. An ideal place for a big group.
