The Garden View apartment was in very poor shape, and the name is misleading. You can only see the garden by standing on the bed in the smaller bedroom; the kitchen/living room and master bedroom look onto a parking lot. The bed sagged, lamps were half hanging from the ceiling, floor lamps were daisy-chained with extension cords, the dusty rooms had mold in the bathroom, and the curtains were stained and didn’t fit the windows. The pillows were dirty and unhygienic too. This hotel feels like two different places. It has around eight modern, clean, high-quality rooms, but we ended up in an old, dirty, low-quality one. The manager eventually offered us another room, but only after midnight on the second night. By then, we’d already booked a third night elsewhere. The stay was extremely disappointing, and that gap in quality is unacceptable. Guests shouldn’t be put in clearly neglected and unhygienic accommodation. I won’t be back.

Our motorcycles had free secure parking, and the staff were really friendly. Breakfast arrived promptly. The bathroom was the letdown, with dim lighting, no shampoo or soap for showering, and a shower door that needed attention.

A nice rustic hotel with a good location. The room was very spacious and fully equipped, and cleanliness and reception were good. WiFi was okay. The shower door was really difficult to open and close and needs fixing. Special thanks to Suzanne for the instructions. Room 1002. That issue is why I’m giving it 4*.

The location is great, with a grocery store around the corner and the Grand Place five minutes away. My kitchenette works well, and the bedding is very comfortable. I’ve been staying here for a month, with another 2 months to go, and I’ll be very sad to leave my home at Hôtel Saint Georges. I love this place and all the staff. They work hard to make it feel like home, and they’re kind, professional, and always checking whether everything is okay. Baran is the manager and does a wonderful job making this a great home for me. I’m looking forward to coming back and living here for another 3 months in the near future. Thank you.

The room felt warm and cozy, and everything looked new even though the building has a historic feel. It’s a lovely spot for a couple, with a Nespresso machine and a small kitchenette. Check-in and check-out were easy, and the place was cute and clean. Street parking was free from 5 pm until 9 am. The old bay window looks out onto the street; it has curtains, but heavier blackout curtains would help with the streetlights, noise, and cold coming in.
