Good location, and the service was excellent. Breakfast was very nice too. The room and bed are tiny, though. They provide a kettle, tea, and coffee, but the teacup is absurdly small, like it belongs in a child's tea set.

I parked outside without trouble finding a space. There's also indoor parking for an extra 10 euros. This was just an overnight stop on a trip, and I was pleasantly surprised: the welcome was friendly and efficient, and the room was clean, modern, and roomy enough. Tea and coffee facilities were provided, and the continental breakfast was just what I needed to carry on with my journey. A nice stay, and I'd use it again.

The people made this a great stay. At check-in, a charming, helpful staff member explained everything clearly, even though she said her English wasn't good. She also pointed out that coffee, tea, and hot chocolate from the machine downstairs were free, which was a refreshing change. Later, a friendly gentleman chatted with us about our journey and, since we were leaving early, showed us how to use the gate remote again. We'd missed taking it in when the first staff member explained it. The room was small but perfect for us, clean and modern, which was a surprise in such a distinguished building. Everything worked. It was very hot, and the fan I had helped, though I think installing air conditioning would be difficult in this building. We left before breakfast, so I can't comment on it. A great stay, and I'd definitely recommend it. Thank you.

We had a lovely time at the St James. Marjorie and Madeline were friendly and very helpful. The room and bathroom were clean, and breakfast was good. It's a short walk into the town centre. There's a small car park and a back garden too. We'll come back.
