Apartment Cuba Zen Actitud

We enjoyed our night here, though the downsides would probably send us somewhere else next time. The large, easy-to-use jacuzzi was a highlight, and the apartment's two floors include a nicely themed wellness area upstairs. The giant TV and roomy bed were good too, but the bed sits on a hard board, which won't suit light sleepers. The shower pressure was weak, it took two minutes to warm up, and there was nowhere to hang it. It was pleasantly warm throughout the apartment on a December evening. In the morning, though, the hammam stones were freezing and we couldn't shake off the chill. Lighting around the jacuzzi was poor, and I fell into the stairwell while closing it, banging my back on the windowsill. Breakfast was basic: croissant, pain au chocolat, baguette, jam, yogurt, and butter, with no meat, cheese, or chocolate spread.

A cheerful, Cuban-themed apartment with loads of space and nice decor. It did get a little warm, so a fan might be useful. Still, I'd recommend it.

Everything was provided for a Cuba-themed trip, and the lady's thoughtful chocolates were such a sweet touch. We felt very welcome and had a wonderful night, with nothing to worry about. We'd happily come back to Cuba. See you soon, gracias amigo!

From the plain-looking front, you wouldn't guess how quickly the place pulls you into a Cuban atmosphere. The decor and music set the mood, and Tito made us delicious fresh Mojitos. There were lots of thoughtful extras in the charming little kitchen: still and sparkling water in the fridge, coffee, tea, fresh fruit, peanuts, and even Leonidas pralines from the neighboring shop. The jacuzzi felt magical, with crystal-clear water at 38 degrees Celsius. Our bed was large and comfortable, and the very wide-screen TV let us watch videos through an external player. Tito discreetly brought a generous, varied breakfast each morning at the time we had arranged. The pastries and baguette were exceptional, and there was yogurt, milk, butter, jam, and even a delicious chocolate éclair. The bathroom had plenty of towels and bathrobes, slippers, toiletries including razors, toothbrushes and toothpaste, plus a first-aid kit. A very warm welcome, and a lovely break from everyday worries.
