The open-plan kitchen was fantastic, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. We made the most of the lovely weather to explore Namur by bike. When we got back, the children used the heated pool while we relaxed in the jacuzzi. So relaxing :)

We paid €1300 for three nights, including a €150 cleaning fee. Before leaving, we did some basic cleaning, ran the dishwasher, and didn’t mop. Later we were criticized for leaving the place dirty. On arrival, the bedroom had no light, and we reported it to the owner straight away. The website said we’d have the house to ourselves, but someone was living in the attic. At night we heard footsteps, doors, and talking, without knowing at first where it was coming from. One evening, while we were in the jacuzzi, someone looked out of the attic window. That was a shock and not pleasant. We were asked to shower before using the jacuzzi, but there was no hot water inside, and the outdoor shower wasn’t working either. The outdoor shower was hanging loosely outside, so we worried it might break. It did, presumably because of the wind. Afterward, we were criticized for not following the rules in the “but” (but). We rented the accommodation for four days over Christmas. We couldn’t get in on the first day until after 5 p.m. The next morning the boiler broke, leaving us without hot water. We contacted the owner, but it didn’t come back until the evening of the third day. There was a folder with useful information for our stay.

Being able to do everything independently through the site is really appealing.
