Ibis Styles Namur

I was here for business. The rooms were spacious, but the service could use work. The front desk staff were rude when I asked a question. They need more training, and if they can't answer questions without being rude, they shouldn't be at the front desk. The food could be better too. The location is a bit far from anything, so you have to take a bus.

The Tesla superchargers were excellent, and after midnight they cost half as much. The whole stay made me happy, and I'd definitely come back. The place was spotless and reasonably priced, with extremely friendly staff. Breakfast was the best I've had in my life: fresh-squeezed juice, fish available, and incredible croissants. I make Ukrainian treats in Leeds at Olgish Cakes, so I really appreciate good pastry, and these were fresh and delicious. I strongly recommend booking a room with breakfast. It really is worth it.

The big rooms are the only good thing about this place. After a long night with our very young twins, we thought breakfast would be a nice treat. But if you haven't booked ahead, you have to go downstairs and pay before you eat. That's outrageous and very unfriendly to families. The two women working in the restaurant were cold and rude about it. Making tired parents of twins spend ten minutes going to pay before they can sit down is ridiculous, and commercially a terrible idea. We won't be back, even though 80% of our family is from Namur and we visit often.

The bathroom and room were spotless, and the staff were both friendly and professional. Breakfast was excellent, especially with the fresh-pressed orange juice. Thanks, Ibis, for making my trip so inspiring.
