We found Hotel Nivelles-Sud calm and comfortable, a simple, private place where couples can get away from their usual routine and unwind. For low-key relaxation, this kind of setting suits us well. SCAM I stopped for dinner and needed to charge my phone, so they suggested one of their portable power banks. I paid, but nothing came out of the machine. At reception they called it “just a glitch” and told me to pay again. I did, and ended up paying in person twice while being charged four times. There was no manager on site. They gave me a manager's contact details, but my messages and calls are being ignored.

The breakfast was great, and the interior design is beautiful. The rooms vary a lot. We booked two superior rooms at the same price: one was large enough for three people, while the other was tiny, and you don't know which one you'll get. Staff were rude and tried to charge us extra for late checkout, even though we'd asked on arrival and were told an extra hour wouldn't cost anything. The pool and sauna are so small they shouldn't be called wellness facilities. An outside Aqua aerobics class was also taking place, so we couldn't use the pool.

There were at least five workers even though the restaurant was only a third full, but the tables were messy and covered in leftovers when we arrived. Nobody came to take our order for half an hour, so we left hungry. A horrible experience in such a nice-looking place with very high prices.
