We stayed here with Majestic tours. The hotel was excellent, perfectly clean, comfortable, and had a spacious room. There was plenty of food. I took a sunrise video from the room balcony showing how close the beach is, as well as the tram stop right outside. You can take the tram along the coast to Du Panne one way or into Ostend the other, for about 2 euros per trip.

I won’t come back. The waiting staff in the restaurant were curt, blunt, and unfriendly. Since they were busy, I tried to help by ordering at the bar, but twice I was called off and told they’d come to my table. When the waitress brought the second order, she impolitely told me that next time I should say where I’m sitting. Good luck putting yourselves out of business.

A room with a sea view sounds lovely, but check where it is before booking. The bar music can be VERY loud, even in February, and carries on until 10:30 on weeknights. Not great with kids or if you’re hoping for a quiet evening.

The location is good, but the stay was a letdown. There were no sheets on the beds, and you have to pay extra for a towel set. Essential toiletries weren’t provided either. Reception staff were rude. I’d avoid it.

The beachside location is beautiful, but the service didn’t match what we paid. The pool was closed on Monday, and the soft play area was shut for two days without warning. Towels weren’t provided, and we had to make the beds ourselves. With so many older guests, it felt like a youth hostel for pensioners.
