After a couple of really stressful days, finding chamomile and mint tea in my room was such a lovely surprise. Both were Bio, and even the tea selection felt carefully chosen. The whole place seems thoughtfully put together, from the spotless, soundproofed room to the comfort, and the staff were extremely polite and courteous. Thank you, Martin's, for such a wonderful stay.

I’m leaving one star because of what happened with my card. I stayed five nights and everything else was fine, though there was an extra tax of a few euros at checkout that hadn’t been explained. Since I’d paid the other amounts and taxes in advance, I let that go. At check-in, the card reader wasn’t working, so the receptionist asked for my card and entered its details manually. They took the security deposit, which was supposed to be refunded at checkout. Three days after I got back to my home country, I noticed an unauthorized transaction from Martin's Louvain-la-Neuve. My card provider blocked the card, investigated the charge, and refunded the amount. I still had to wait for a replacement card, and my card was blocked because of the fraudulent charge from Martin's Agora City (1 Rue de l'Hocaille, Anneau Central Nord, Ottignies Louvain-la-Neuve hotel). I’m sharing this to warn people not to hand their physical card to the receptionist. I was lucky to notice the transaction alert. Otherwise, I might not have known about the fraudulent charge. Be careful with your money and card details when choosing Martin's Louvain-la-Neuve. Thank you.

The room stayed cold because the heating switched off whenever I left and took the key card out of the power slot. The bathroom never dried properly either, leaving a constant musty smell and conditions that seemed ideal for mold. I would have rated the hotel higher if this hadn’t made the stay uncomfortable.
