The setting is great for hiking and cycling, with nature all around and local shops nearby. We were eight people and found the house really comfortable, with generous bathrooms, a separate bath and showers, plus a well-equipped kitchen with two ovens and big fridges. The garden and barbecue area gave us plenty of room outside, and the hosts were helpful, easy to communicate with, and had a good sense of humor. The decor is modern and everything was well kept. A few warm nights were uncomfortable without air conditioning, and the rooster got us up early sometimes. Still, we thought it was worth the price and would happily come back.

The sleeping loft turned out to be much less spacious than the photos suggested. To get to the bed, we had to crawl on our knees between the wooden beams, and I wish the website had explained that more clearly. We stayed in the second holiday home, which otherwise had lovely, comfortable furnishings, beautiful living areas, and very nice rooms upstairs.
