There was great food and plenty to do, and the rooms were amazing. The people were really friendly too.

There's plenty of freedom here, and the people are so kind and friendly. We loved the spacious garden, with lots of places to sit, and there's a room where you can have a drink and look around in the evening. Our bedroom was beautiful, and the bathroom had both a shower and a bath. Breakfast was generous and delicious. We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend it. The owners gave us such a warm welcome, and breakfast was delicious. We stayed in the garden pod, which felt cosy and gave us plenty of privacy. There's a private bathroom behind it with a hot tub. Great for couples wanting to cycle around the area, and there's a secure place to store and charge electric bikes. Highly recommended.

The best part for the kids was getting to speak Dutch with boys their own age, since we live in Germany and Sylvie and Jurgen have two boys about the same age as my sons. I really enjoyed the long chats with Jurgen and Sylvie too, they're lovely people. The breakfast was varied and very good, with regional products, and we ate on the veranda looking over the big garden. Our room was fine, and we didn't need much luxury. The bathroom was beautiful. We would've liked to stay in the pod, though it seems better suited to couples. The pool isn't heated, which is a small complaint. For us, it was a perfect stay, and I'll definitely come back.
