The rooms were disgusting: they stank, the carpentry was dirty, the sheets were dirty, the furniture was falling apart, and everything was covered in grime and mold. See the picture. It gets one star only because I can't give zero. I made a late reservation through booking.com and paid in full in advance, under a clear no-refund policy. I arrived around 22:00, and after confirming I'd already paid, the receptionist demanded a 100 euro deposit or said I wouldn't get the room, with no refund of what I'd paid. I couldn't get hold of booking.com, and if there had been anywhere else available in town, I would have left. I'm curious what will happen to my deposit tomorrow morning. Keep away from scammers.

A traumatic experience. The place was messy, dirty, unsafe, full of junk, and nobody spoke English. Phone reception was a problem too, since roaming kept switching between Belgium and France. I booked through booking.com and they failed badly. I can't believe places like this still exist. I had to book another hotel. Unbelievable. Better to use airbnb.

My whole family came away with bed bug bites. The room was awful, moldy, rusty, and dirty. A terrible stay and a health hazard. Avoid at all costs!!!!

We stopped here for one night on a road trip farther down Europe. It's a two-star place, so basic, but the rooms and beds were very clean and the staff were helpful. We found free on-street parking outside the hotel, and the beds were comfortable.

A very mediocre place, though it's fine for a rest while passing through. The rooms were okay, but they really should install proper air conditioning. On an August evening, the rooms were like a baker's oven.
