The rooms are large and thoughtfully appointed, and there are lots of personal touches throughout this lovely little hotel. It’s a real gem. I couldn’t recommend it more, a must.

We spent a night at the Guesthouse de la Paix over the Easter holidays. The owners made us feel very welcome and were so friendly. We’d recommend the restaurant too, where breakfast is served in the morning.

We stayed for one night after booking through Flanders Holiday Land, with my wife and our dog. It’s a great location, and there’s free parking close by. We were greeted warmly at reception and at the pop-up restaurant, where breakfast is currently served. Our room was spacious and spotless, with a big comfortable bed, air conditioning, a terrace, a bathtub, and a shower. It was meticulously kept and quiet. There was coffee, tea, water, and a small fridge in the room, plus an honesty bar downstairs by the entrance. The place has modern comforts and state-of-the-art technology. Breakfast was hearty, with lots of choice, local products, and fresh bread. Linda was sociable and easy to approach, and gave us some tips. We’ll happily come back. Highly recommended.
