Le Château de Rendeux

For the price, this was a reasonable place to stay and a handy base for exploring different cities and attractions. I had a pleasant weekend here at this 3-star hotel. It didn't go beyond what I expected, but it's a decent option if you want an affordable stay with the essentials. The room was very spacious, clean and maintained, and the bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly and check-in went smoothly. Housekeeping also responded promptly to our requests and kept the room pleasant. Basic things like air conditioning and Wi-Fi were missing, though. Breakfast had a decent range, if not a huge selection, and was enough to get us going for the day. The main downside was the soundproofing. Noise from other rooms occasionally disturbed us, though we could manage it and it didn't have a big effect on the stay. There aren't extravagant luxuries, but for what we paid it was good value. I'd recommend it to budget-conscious travelers looking for a decent stay in a convenient spot, with attentive staff and clean rooms.
