We had dinner from the Friday menu, and the servings were generous, tasty, and well worth the price. The owners are lovely, and our room and bathroom were both spacious and spotless. Breakfast was great too; a few more tea options like green, mint, or chamomile would be nice. We’d happily recommend the hotel to family and friends, and come back ourselves.

Breakfast had plenty to choose from, all carefully put together by the owner. Our room was large, nicely decorated, and had a very comfortable bed. Although the lodge is by a busy crossroads and the bedrooms face the street, traffic was barely audible. There’s an outdoor pool that I assume opens in summer, but it wasn’t available on a rainy March day. Check-in is quite fixed at 4 to 7 pm, with little flexibility, and the room-number fob on the keychain is so big it won’t fit in a pocket. We stayed one night.
