10/10
We called ahead because we’d be arriving close to 11pm, and the staff were fantastic about making sure we could get into the property. The room and decor are basic, and it’s obviously not a five-star hotel, but it was perfectly fine for a one-night stop. The bed was comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean.

We were there on a Monday, and the hotel restaurant was closed. Everything else around it was shut too. The rooms were very basic, but clean. I’d go there again. Adrian & Annabelle Wyberton Boston Lincolnshire UK

2/10
No breakfast was available, which is a shame because the hotel is in a superb spot in a beautiful city. But at €75-80, it’s expensive for what you get. There’s no soundproofing at all. It feels like you’re sleeping right beside the train tracks and practically next to the people in the room beside you. The staircase is awful, extremely dangerous and unsafe, and doesn’t seem up to code. Reception was a disaster too. They don’t speak Flemish, English or French, and only seem to understand.

10/10
The staff were very friendly and helpful, and we were pleased with the parking. The hotel is only a few minutes’ walk from the train station, so the location is really convenient. Our room was spacious and clean, with a nice bathroom. We had a good stay at new Flanders, and I’d recommend it for the good price-quality ratio.

The room was fine and fairly clean, and the staff were friendly. But the bed was extremely uncomfortable, with no support at the sides. The pillows were awful, and I had neck ache for a couple of days. Parking on the side of the street costs £5 per night.
