The hotel wasn't open yet, but the garden was lovely and had different activities available. The host was friendly, and the patisserie was truly amazing, the kind you'd expect at a 5-star hotel in any city. Breakfast can be booked by phone the day before and is available from 8am. Drinks and food are otherwise served between 11:30 and 21:30.

The room was badly dated, the TV didn't work properly, and the place needs a serious update. The bathroom felt dangerous. I was badly bruised getting out of the shower, and I wish I'd taken a photo. The room wasn't serviced daily either. We booked a week and were given only three tea bags and two coffee sachets. When I asked for more, I was refused. Breakfast was one egg with a continental breakfast. When I toasted my bread and added a slice of ham, the host glared at me and took it away, though you could have as much tea and coffee as you wanted. When the restaurant was open, it was very expensive for what you got. There are plenty of better, cheaper places nearby. I'd recommend the restaurant at Coo.

A sunny spot, and a great place to pause for lunch during a motorcycle ride.

A little pricey, but the apple pie is amazing!
