Both my children got sick. The jacuzzi was full of germs, and you could clearly see the chlorine. There was mold all over the bathrooms, weeds everywhere, and the place felt anything but cozy. It was filthy and deeply unsanitary. Disgusting. Don’t book here. Not worth even one star.

We paid €800 for two nights with nine people, which is completely unacceptable for such neglected, unhygienic accommodation. The kitchen and cupboards were dusty, so we had to wash the dishes before using them, and the garden furniture was broken. There’s also a risk the owner will blame guests for the problems instead of taking responsibility. The sauna couldn’t be used because its door hinges were broken, and the replacement only came on our last evening. The electric stovetop was broken too. In one bedroom, the ceiling, spare pillows, and blankets were moldy. There was a rat in the spa carrying food around. The owner put out rat poison, but the problem continued, with activity between the floor and ceiling in different rooms, including the spa. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

The kitchen stuff was revolting. Greasy, sticky utensils, unwashed glasses, dirty plates, and black pots and pans that looked like they hadn’t been washed for ages. There was hair, blood, and other traces of previous guests, and nothing seemed clean. It feels like a recipe for infection. The jacuzzi was disgusting and didn’t work. Three quarters of the equipment was out of order because of the humidity. This is shameful service, not even the bare minimum. We’ll never go back. The place should be closed until it’s properly cleaned and maintained. Wanting to make money means nothing if you can’t look after the business or offer decent service.

The photos barely match what you find on site. The bedrooms smelled intensely musty, and we had to get our own air freshener. The heater didn’t work either. At first the pool looked fine, but it was visibly dirty and full of hair, and its pump failed several times. Snacks we left upstairs disappeared within five minutes. Chocolate drops turned up behind the steam room, where we could hear a small animal, presumably a rat. The host first acted like he knew nothing, then produced rat poison with surprising readiness. It’s a disturbing way to handle a serious hygiene problem. The host was hard to reach during the stay, often showed up late at night, and tried to blame us for the shortcomings, though we’d photographed everything at handover. That handover was odd too: two children gave us the keys after a quick tour. The sauna door nearly fell on our feet, and we couldn’t use the sauna all weekend. After we told the owner, he eventually unscrewed the door completely, but it was never repaired. The house smelled like a basement, the pool felt like a biological experiment, and the host treated us unacceptably. If you’re fine with dirty water, broken equipment, rats in the house, and a host who ignores problems then blames guests, you might be happy here. Everyone else should think twice before spending time and money on it. A tent and sleeping bag would at least set clearer expectations. Hard to understand why platforms like Airbnb allow this accommodation.
