The hotel has a stylish interior, and we got a fancy pen as a little reward for our stay. Breakfast was excellent, and the location right by the train station is convenient. The only small drawback is that the bathroom is inside one of the bedrooms. They can’t really change the wall layout, so it wasn’t a big deal. A nice, cozy place to stay if you’re in Verviers for any reason.

I picked this place because I wanted to be near the station, the town centre for dinner, and the venue for a live music event that night. It worked perfectly for all three. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and showed me the keys and where the room and bathroom were. It’s an older building, with the character of high ceilings and stairs still intact. I had the cheapest room, which was perfectly fine for one night and just as described. The bathroom was one floor down, with towels provided and a nice hot shower. For a one-night stay, that wasn’t an issue, and the value was particularly good. My one small gripe: the timer lights could stay on longer. They often went out while I was walking between floors.

We stayed for one night after hiking in the Ardennes and would definitely come back. The staff were very nice, and our room was tidy and clean, with its own clean toilet and shower. Breakfast wasn’t anything special, but it was fresh, carefully made, and delicious.
