Domaine de Priesmont

There’s so much space and peace on the estate that you may just want to stay there for a few days. The Ardennes lodge is a beautiful old hunting lodge, and Vielsalm’s surroundings are stunning. They’ve respected the original and old features while adding plenty of modern comforts. You feel relaxed and reflective straight away. Highly recommended!

The terrace is a lovely place to enjoy the sunny days and the breathtaking views across Vielsalm. Domaine De Priesmont is easy to reach by public transport and has plenty of room for large groups. Every room has a comfortable double bed, towels, sheets, and a private bathroom. There’s a long dining table by the fireplace, while the living room has a piano and plenty of seating. The two large kitchens have space for catering. It’s a joy to stay here with a big group!

Our 25-person team stayed for two nights, and everyone was impressed as soon as we arrived by the house’s authentic charm. With such a big group, places can feel like a boarding school, but this didn’t at all. The rooms are lovely, with ensuite bathrooms and quality bedding and towels. There’s a beautiful, welcoming kitchen with a large table, a lovely sitting room, and a grand dining room, both with big open fireplaces and plenty of dry firewood. The indoor pool is a fun extra and stays warm even in winter. A real gem!

The surroundings are beautiful, and the house has lovely spacious rooms. There’s a roomy kitchen and plenty of places to sit, indoors and outside. The pool is small but excellent. Some of the electricity and lights don’t all work.
