You can head straight out from the cottage onto several hiking trails, and the large garden gave our dog a safe place to run around. The place is clean and uncluttered, with games for kids and adults. Ariane brings great energy and good humor, and the care in the little details really shows. We appreciated the laundry basket in the bathroom, and the equipment list sent at booking was handy for someone like me who tends to bring things just in case. There’s a small shop in the cottage with basic supplies, mostly locally sourced. If something you need isn’t there, the hosts will find a solution. The table d’hôtes meals are generous and delicious, with Ariane adjusting for allergies and preferences. It feels like having a restaurant at home, and breakfast is worthy of a 3-star hotel. The location and all that thoughtfulness made for an excellent stay. Don’t hesitate, book now!

Walking trails start right at this lovely, quiet cottage, and the surroundings are beautiful. Inside, it’s clean and cozy, with two large beds and very good mattresses. The big fenced garden is great for small children or dogs. There’s also a back storage room where you can leave muddy shoes and wash and dry the dog. The landlady was friendly. We really enjoyed our stay, highly recommend it, and will definitely return.

We’ve just come back from a lovely weekend in the gîte with our children. The huge enclosed garden kept them and the dog happy, and the snow made it even better. The owners live next door and were incredibly friendly and helpful. The cottage is comfortable and thoughtfully equipped. There’s a rack in the storage room for dry food and a few drinks, so you don’t have to rush to the shop, and the kitchen has things like olive oil, salt and pepper, foil, cling film, and baking paper. Everything was clean, towels were provided for the kitchen and bathroom, and the beds had fresh sheets and were neatly made. Highly recommended if you want to enjoy the Ardennes in peace.

We had a great time here with our two Golden Retrievers. The fenced garden was lovely, and the house is cozy, with excellent beds and a kitchen that has everything you need. Ariane was easy to communicate with and answered my questions quickly and helpfully. There’s plenty to do nearby, with activities starting right from the house.
