For a romantic break by the lake, this place has a calm, private feel that makes it easy to slow down and enjoy time together. La Romance du Lac feels thoughtfully put together and very peaceful. Compared with other relaxing places I’ve tried, including Saunadelizia, it really suits a quiet getaway centered on being together.

The garden is a lovely spot to relax, and the hotel is wonderfully quiet by the lake. Breakfast was thoughtfully prepared and very tasty, and the staff were warm and welcoming. All the rooms have been newly renovated and feel cozy and comfortable. What a fantastic place. We’ll gladly come back!

We chose the suite with a private terrace overlooking the garden for our one-night stay at Romance du Lac. The staff were kind and welcoming, and the location made it easy to hike around a nearby castle and explore the Hautes Fagnes, just a few minutes away by car. Totally recommended. :)

The hosts were friendly, and breakfast was good, though nothing special. The place is neat, clean and nicely decorated. It’s a quiet area, with hiking trails you can reach after just a few minutes.

A lovely little garden, and breakfast is served outside when the weather allows. This is a nice B&B, though it’s really more like a small guesthouse. The breakfast could be improved quite a bit.
