Logie Bloemenlust

We arrived at check-in time, but no one was there or answered the number we’d been given. The owner turned up 20 minutes late. Later that night we were called and told the system had canceled our booking a long time ago, but no email had been sent. The owner’s solution was to go through our things and dump everything in the hallway without supervision. There was money in our bags, and my razor ended up on top of my glasses. She blamed the booking software, which showed that we’d canceled on the day we booked, but couldn’t provide any evidence that we’d been notified. She said she deletes all emails and information about canceled guests. Pure incompetence, blame shifting, bad service, and excuse after excuse. I can’t recommend this place to anyone.

We were given the room keys without being checked in properly, then got a call later that night telling us to hurry back because, supposedly, we had canceled the room on the same day we booked. The owner said she had no room for us and put our belongings outside. She couldn’t show any proof that we had canceled. Horrible experience. Don’t book here if you don’t want to risk ending up on the street during your vacation!

It had been a long time since we last came. Sadly, only two of the seven taps had beer, though the bottled beer selection was good.

There’s food and accommodation here, along with a range of bottled beers.
