The kitchen is fully equipped, the furnishings are very comfortable, and the modern bathroom has a large walk-in shower. The apartment was exceptionally clean too. This was our second stay at gite de Lombard, and it was fantastic again. It's ideally placed, about a five-minute walk from the town centre, with on-street parking right outside. Highly recommended.

The Gîte the Lombard sits on a quiet street, so it was a really peaceful place to stay. The owners live next door and are lovely, helpful people. We were lucky enough to be among the first visitors, and we loved it. We'd certainly come back. The house had just had a complete renovation, so everything inside was new. The tasteful furnishings and well-placed decorations give it a trendy feel. It's right in the heart of Ypres, within walking distance of all the nice things to see and do. Sven had bikes ready for us, which was handy. From the house, the Cloth Halls are a ten-minute walk and the ramparts are only a few minutes away, making it a great base for Ypres and the surrounding area. The house is fully equipped, with a good sofa, a nice kitchen, comfortable beds, and a pleasant shower. If you're looking for somewhere to stay in Ypres with six people, this is a very good option. Free parking is available nearby.

There’s a playground a short way away, and the teens had Wi-Fi. Plenty of comfort for our four kids, too. Ypres is an easy walk from this quiet spot.
