Mövenpick hotel Brussels Airport

The room was clean and spacious, with really nice decor and lighting you can set to different scenes for different purposes. The bed was so comfortable that we slept really well. The breakfast buffet was decent, and I liked that the hotel provides sparkling water on tap. Just a note about the airport shuttle: at the airport, it leaves from Ground 0, Platform E, which isn't mentioned on the website. At the hotel, pickup and drop-off are on the main road, not right at the door.

My husband and I stayed for three nights before our international flight. The room looked fresh and modern, was beautifully designed and very clean. The bed was exceptionally soft and comfortable, the best we've experienced. We appreciated the complimentary water, which you don't often get at European hotels, and most of the staff were friendly and welcoming. The location is convenient for the airport, with a free shuttle. The shower pressure was noticeably weak. For the price, breakfast could be better: the chicken sausage was bland and not warm, and the champagne my husband tried tasted a bit like cork. At checkout on October 4 around 6:30 AM, the staff member seemed disengaged and didn't properly check that most of our food and drink charges had already been paid.

The free shuttle to and from the airport is a big plus, and from an upper floor on the right side of the building you get amazing runway views. The rooms block out the sound so well you can't hear any planes. The restaurant also has a view, and dinner was good and reasonably priced. Service there could use some work. I'm not sure if the staff were overwhelmed or all new, but it didn't match the hotel's quality. The room could also use a few more sockets. Still, it's an excellent place to stay near Brussels Airport, and I'd definitely come back.

I was really happy with the room, which was all nice and new, and with the quality of the food and service in the restaurant. I chose this hotel for its airport shuttle because I had an early flight. The shuttle lounge is a good idea, but it's not near where the bus pulls in. Maybe a four-star hotel could use a smaller shuttle if bus height is an issue. At minimum, the signs need to be better. Another couple and I nearly missed the bus because we weren't waiting on the road.
