I wouldn't recommend it. Getting into the hotel itself was inconvenient, the WiFi didn't work in room 42, and some breakfast items had run out. There also wasn't a clear room service menu.

As a woman traveling alone, I found check-in really unsettling. The front desk employee said my room number out loud while two other guests were standing right behind me in line. I told the staff member straight away that this wasn't okay and asked him not to do it again, especially with people close enough to hear. I was genuinely shocked by the lack of basic safety awareness. Keeping guests' information private should be a basic hospitality standard at a reputable hotel. Safety and discretion should be non-negotiable, and I hope management takes this seriously and trains the staff accordingly.

For the conference I was attending, the peaceful setting made this a perfect place for total immersion. The staff were very friendly, the rooms really nice, and the food delicious. I loved the bees and chickens, too. It is a bit far from Mechelen, and there's a busy road nearby. The disappointing part was that they couldn't provide extra sheets and blankets, which was quite surprising. We ended up having to get them ourselves from another guest.

I attended a training here. The staff were really friendly, and both the facilities and food were excellent.

The food was alright, but the room was quite cold. Otherwise, everything could have been okay.
