Mama Rosa welcomed us with coffee, and the apartment was comfortable and self-contained. The master bed was amazing, I slept eight hours! There are two bedrooms, a good-sized shower, plenty of hot water and towels. Having a complementary bier while looking across the countryside towards Iepres was just what we needed. The back terrace overlooks the peaceful Tynecot Cemetery. It’s ideally placed for Battlefield Touring or walking into Passendale for something to eat. Breakfast was wonderful, brought at a time that suited us: fresh bread, rolls and croissants, juice, milk, butter, yogurts, omelette, ham and cheese, homemade jam, and strawberries or grapes. There are great books and plenty of information for your stay, plus a TV, radio and music. A lovely place to return to after a day of exploring, history and emotion. Mama Rosa and Maryjke are top hosts. Go see for yourself.

The panorama is beautiful from this very spacious, clean apartment. We got a really warm welcome and all the information we needed to explore the area.
