We were nine people on a long weekend and found the farmhouse spacious, cosy and well equipped. The kids had lots of room to play in the big garden. We especially enjoyed the jacuzzi, darts and animals. The hostess was friendly and easy to get hold of.
Breakfast at Bernard's bakery was fantastic. We had a wonderful family weekend at holiday home Amadee, which was very clean, comfortably furnished and tucked away in a quiet area near the Palingbeek stream, Gastguisbossen and Ypres. Definitely worth visiting.
The jacuzzi was a lovely extra, and the house was warm despite its large rooms, with a welcoming decor. It’s spacious, surrounded by fields and centrally placed for many sights, with everything you need close at hand. The stairs are very narrow and can’t be blocked off at the bottom, so take care. We’d happily come back.
The countryside setting among the meadows is lovely, and there’s a large garden with a jacuzzi and a play tower for children, next to a meadow with animals. Inside, the kitchen and bedrooms are well equipped, with lots of space to eat together and an area for dancing in the evening or letting the kids play. A paradise for all ages.
We were nine adults and had plenty of room in this charming, beautifully renovated farmhouse. The garden was well kept, with a jacuzzi and fantastic views, and the house sits on a quiet lane that ends there. There are lovely walks to the Gasthuisbossen (junctions), cycling routes, and Ypres is only 10 minutes away. Thanks to Lore & Désiree for the warm welcome.
