10/10
We only stayed one night while passing through Asenovgrad. We’d booked a single queen bed, but because we had our 4 years old kid, they gave us a room with an extra bed without charging for the child or the room. The staff were very polite, and it’s great value for the money. There’s free parking and it’s a 10 minute walk to the city center. The restaurant downstairs is great. The hotel breakfast served outside the restaurant was nothing special.

Everything else was fine, with clean rooms and a good breakfast, so no complaints there. I did find it unusual that they asked for payment in advance. The bathroom water also kept going up and down for no reason.

The restaurant food and service were enjoyable, and so was the massage. Housekeeping really needs attention, though. Our room wasn’t clean, with dust on the furniture and dirty shower tiles. We stayed 4 nights, and the carpet wasn’t vacuumed once.

The restaurant section was good, and the coffees were delicious. The hotel itself is old and needs restoration.

It’s fine for a night or two, and dogs are allowed, though the fee for them feels a bit pricey. More expensive than all Europe!!!
