The location is about a 15 minute walk from the gondola. There's no property parking, only street parking around the hotel, and you need to be careful because the police may fine you. The apartments are a gamble. Some are so small you can barely move without hitting furniture, and the sofa bed is impossible to sleep on. Showers leave water all over the bathroom, so remember to bring toilet paper too. One evening around 8 PM, I had no hot water. The owner told me by phone it was too late to fix it and offered two options: use the SPA shower or shower at my friend's apartment. I'd paid for my own apartment, so having to shower elsewhere was ridiculous. Breakfast was a bad joke for 8 EUR per adult and 4 EUR per child. We got cold omelet, cold sausages and something that passed for coffee. The “chef” wouldn't make more pancakes, even though they were gone 20 minutes before breakfast ended. My daughter wanted 2 pancakes, but the answer was, “No, no more pancakes.” That was the breakfast and attitude we got for 20 EUR for me, my wife and my daughter. After I said I'd pay for the miserable breakfast once I'd spoken with the owner, they threatened to block my room and keep me from my personal things. If you want bad sleep and an unpleasant stay, this is the place. For decent treatment and good conditions, go somewhere else.

It's affordable, well located and the staff are extremely friendly. Breakfast is okay, though the choice is basically eggs and salami or corn flakes. The sauna is great, but the jacuzzi water could be cleaner. I also don't understand having a stove in the room if guests aren't allowed to cook on it because they might leave cooking smells.

The room was clean and had all the basics, and we loved our stay. The hosts were helpful and sweet, always smiling. They gave newcomers to bansko good tips, and the hotel's spa services were interesting and well maintained. Definitely worth the price.

It's a family business, and the people are kind, warm and helpful. They try to do their best for clients. We had a good breakfast, and being able to order dinner in advance was a real plus on nights when we were too tired to go out. After a day skiing, the sauna and jacuzzi were great. The gondola is a 10 minutes walk away, so we didn't depend on a car. We'll repeat the experience for sure. I've added a few photos with views from the room just to give you an idea.

The Jacuzzi was amazing, but the apartment was still cold even though it was full, and the heating didn't work. The bathroom wouldn't lock, and we could hear the sewage system from the apartments upstairs. It wasn't romantic or luxurious, that's for sure. There were bugs on the bed, hair in the bathroom from the previous tenants, cold water in the shower, and sticky, dirty cutlery in the room. WiFi didn't work despite the hotel trying several times to fix it. Nobody at the hotel spoke English, and one person was very rude. Good luck 🫠
