Ania put out fresh cakes every day, and dinner was absolutely delicious. The hosts were flexible, cleaned daily, kept a fire going, and made sure we had a great stay. Although the chalet isn’t on the slopes, it’s not far away, and they drive you there and back so you can avoid the queues when it’s busy. Good value for money, especially for beginners or families who want half board.

Ania and Danny were caring, hospitable hosts with a good sense of humour, and they made lovely meals for our vegetarian group. After each day of skiing, there was a freshly baked cake waiting for us. The rooms and facilities were nice, and Chalet Jora can accommodate a big group. It’s close to the centre, within walking distance of the Gondola, though the hosts also offered to take us there and back. We had a great stay and would highly recommend Chalet Jora to anyone visiting bansko. Thanks to everyone for looking after us, we’d love to return.

Danny and Ania were such lovely hosts. Their cooking was great, and chatting with them felt almost like visiting family friends. They were also very accommodating with rides to the slopes, ski shop or gondola, and with arranging some complicated pickups. A really great stay, thanks to even better hosts!

We’ve just finished our holiday at Jora, and all my friends loved it. Danny, Jay, Ania and Laura were incredibly helpful, especially when my girlfriend suffered a serious injury on the slopes. They offered to collect us from the med centre and advised us about getting help at the airport. Breakfast and shuttle times were flexible from day to day. For the price per person, staying here in Bansko is an easy choice. Thanks again, guys x

This was our second time with total chalets, and it was even better than the first. Danny and Ania were amazing, the food and service were top tier, and Jay was always attentive and quick to respond. Just perfect. Thanks, guys!
