The owners make you feel genuinely welcome, and the value is hard to beat. This family-run place has been around for eight generations and sits right beside the church in the old town. Their food is excellent, with yoghurt made from their own sheep's milk and house wine, beef sausage, and other things from local producers. It's about a 20-minute walk to the gondola, but well worth it. Best in Bansko!

We stopped in for one night on vacation, and the owner was incredibly generous. The hospitality made us feel right at home, so we came back twice more. Boris is the best. The food is great too, and the prices are good.

We haven't stayed here, but we've eaten here twice recently. Plenty of places in Bansko put on a “traditional” Bulgarian experience, while this one feels like the real thing. The welcome is warm, the food is great, and the homemade wine is excellent. It felt like being invited into a Bulgarian home for dinner. Simply wonderful.

Dinner and drinks for our group of seven were great. The food was really good, and the service was even better. The owner and staff made us feel welcome and were happy to accommodate us. Can't recommend it enough :)

We had lunch today while the restaurant was somewhat busy, but not so packed that taking our order should have taken that long. The soup arrived along with the main dish, and the fries came late and cold.
