Guest House Hayloft

We spent New Year here with 14 of my friends, and Reni looked after us brilliantly. She and her husband made a wonderful breakfast every morning, and can also cook a great meal if you ask. I’d recommend trying it. When one of our friends broke her leg, Reni helped us communicate with the doctors and supported us with whatever we needed. It was great value, and only a 10min walk to the Gondola.

Our three year old had such a good time at Hayloft Guesthouse that he still calls Reny and Ivan his friends from Bansko. There are lots of toys and things for children to explore, and Reny and Ivan were happy to help with special requests. We enjoyed their company too, they’re lovely, genuine people. Their homemade breakfasts and dinners were delicious and good value for the quality of the ingredients, especially compared with nearby restaurants. The rooms were spotless and tastefully decorated. The location is quiet, while still very close to both the gondola lift and town center. We used their comfortable, reasonably priced transfer from Kavala, Greece to Bansko and were glad we did. This was our second stay, and we hope to return. We always have a wonderful time at Kashta Plevnyata.

Rali was a wonderful host and also pointed us toward BSR for ski hire. This guest house works especially well for a large group, since you can book the whole place. It has ensuite rooms and a large shared kitchen and dining area, beautifully decorated in traditional Bulgarian style. There are shops all around, and it’s 10-15 min from the gondola. Great value, particularly for a big group.

Raina & Ivan made our five nights at The Hayloft warm and welcoming, like being at home. They were friendly and helpful, and the food was amazing!!! Thanks to them both for a lovely stay. We’ll definitely come back, and bring the family next time.
