10/10
The location is on a quiet street, about 10 minutes from both the center and the supermarket. Our room was spacious and very clean, with cooking utensils and everything needed to prepare breakfast. It’s a lovely family hotel, well maintained, with parking available. The managers are pleasant and attentive to each guest.

The host was polite and helpful, and the area is peaceful. It’s a normal 10 to 15 minute walk to the center, and the place is very good for the price. The address listed for the location needs updating, though.

We arrived at the agreed time, only to be told reception had no record of our booking. It took far too long to persuade them that we were supposed to have a room, and they made needless remarks about us staying just one night. We had car trouble and had to leave the car in the parking area a little longer. The owner, or whoever was in charge, knew what had happened and said he didn’t care, the car had to be moved. Absolutely terrible. I usually like supporting small businesses, but I’d avoid this one.

Prices are low and it’s a great place. The only drawback I remember is that communication was difficult: they couldn’t really speak English, and I don’t speak Bulgarian.
