We stopped in for lunch. The prices are on the high side, though the portions are bigger than usual. The fries were really tasty, the menu had the usual tavern-style choices, and the garden looked nice for a sunny day. Service was quick and friendly, and there’s parking close to the entrance.

We had a fun time eating and drinking, but once we paid, the staff hurried us out. There was an argument and they reacted aggressively. The grill master deserves respect, though, he seemed dedicated to his craft.

There are more tables than the place can manage. We waited an hour, and the dishes came out all over the place: the main course first, then starters, desserts, and another main. I wouldn’t recommend coming in high season.

The meat was outstanding, and the fresh bread and soup were great too. Everything we tried tasted good, though it was a little overpriced. Best food we’ve had in Bulgaria!

We only ate at the restaurant, not at the hotel, and the food was amazing. The menu has a huge range of hot and cold starters and main courses, including vegetarian and vegan choices. I also liked that every dish had a picture and its weight listed, so you can see what you’re ordering and how much it is. Since we were in Bulgaria, we definitely wanted to try the meat.
