The owner is very kind and handles many different jobs around the hotel, and the service is excellent. The food is homemade, very tasty, and served in traditional dishes. It gives you a sense of the past and how our ancestors lived. The building and its interiors have an authentic mountain character, with lots of wood and objects once used for daily life, household chores, and farm work. The rooms are small but cozy, with very comfortable beds. I’d recommend this place for its traditional charm, the owner’s kindness, authenticity, and excellent service.

It’s a cozy, convenient place to stay for a ski or snowboard trip to Bansko. The gondola isn’t right next door, but it’s only a ten-minute walk. They also have an arrangement with a ski room near the gondola, so you can leave your gear there instead of carrying it every day. Breakfast was very good, with traditional flavors. After a tiring day in the mountains, you can relax by the fireplace upstairs. They even prepared a breakfast package for me to take on the road when I was leaving. Thank you.

The rooms are tiny, but the atmosphere is mighty. Such a cute, authentic place, super cozy, and the prices are really decent. It’s the only hotel I’ve stayed at twice in Bulgaria!

We spent two summer days here. The rooms were clean and cozy, with a very Bulgarian style. The hosts were quick to respond and helpful, especially with arranging free street parking, which was no problem. The food was good too. In summer the kitchen stays open until 10 and drinks are served until 11. Bansko’s walking street is just three minutes away. Vladimir, if you’re reading this, you’re the best!
