Room 23 was spacious and comfortable, with temperature control that worked as it should. At night, though, the occasional sound of water running through the system was uncomfortable. The modern, compact bathroom had Grohe fixtures, but the shower drain was clogged and water pooled. There was also a 50" flat-screen TV, Wi-Fi, and a Nespresso coffee maker. The hosts live elsewhere, so arrange to meet them or call before arriving. You check yourself out. The three-floor townhouse dates from the beginning of the 20th century and has been renovated and furnished to a very high standard. In sleepy Batak, it offers a luxurious stay. Rooms come in different sizes, and the design, materials, workmanship, quality, and cleanliness are all top notch.

The rooms are spotless, with luxurious bathrooms, and the place is furnished extremely well. The hosts are very accommodating. I’d definitely recommend it for a business trip nearby or a short break with friends or family.

The management is very good and always ready to help, explain things, or suggest what to see and do nearby. The people are so polite and positive, and the place feels peaceful and marvelous. Absolutely worth it. You really should visit when you go to Batak!

We booked a studio and were delighted with it. It’s cozy, clean, and very well maintained, right in the center of Batak. The municipality and the church-ossuary of Sveta Nedelya are no more than five minutes away. The owner was so warm and cheerful, and explained everything about the studio in detail, including nearby entertainment. I give it 5 out of 5!
