The staff were polite and friendly, and the restaurant food was decent. The rest of the stay was disappointing. The hotel is very old and clearly needs renovation; the carpets seemed unhygienic to me and should be taken out. The mattresses felt extremely worn, sagged and creaked, and made a good night’s sleep impossible. Our room wasn’t clean, there was no drinking water or refrigerator, and the tap water ran orange, which concerned me.

My room was really clean and spacious, with a comfortable, good bed. But it was so cold that I had to wear my jacket while sitting in the room.

A worn-out old hotel, though the location is good. Overall, below average.

We spent one night there and weren’t told a party was happening. It went on until 6 in the morning, with the bass making the walls vibrate. Parties are fine, but a heads-up or at least a discount would have been fair. The TV wouldn’t switch off, so we had to cover it with a towel to try to sleep. The pipes apparently hadn’t been used for a while, and we had to run the water until it changed from brown to clear. I wouldn’t recommend it.
