Bozhencite Relax

The location was nice and the room and food were okay. I do wish there had been curtains. It was also odd to see people smoking at their tables in a no-smoking hotel, with staff giving them ashtrays when the smoking area was only 20 feet away.

The rooms had no fridge, and we had to choose between plugging in the TV or the heater. In the restaurant, the TV was louder than everything else, and there was no sense of table manners. Staff spoke rudely and impolitely. There were only two people running the hotel and restaurant, cooking and serving as well, which looked like a lot to handle. We were cold most of the time, in the rooms and in shared spaces like the corridors and restaurant. The corridor LED spotlights flickered and drove us all nuts. The indoor pool water was full of goo, and garbage bags were floating in the outdoor pool. Many amenities weren't available, or simply weren't switched on. Food and everything else were overpriced. A plain omelette for dinner took 45 minutes, came with eggshells in it, and the bread arrived at dessert time. Breakfast was a disaster, mostly omelette variations served with low-quality bread. The “complete” option was probably the only decent choice, according to my mother-in-law. At checkout they tried to charge us extra for using the sauna. When we refused, they dropped it, which seemed like a scam to me. They also said the cash register wasn't working, so we had to pay cash, and we didn't get a receipt. I believe this might have been a nice place last century. Don't go here.

The staff were polite, and the restaurants were good. This mountain complex is a lovely place to unwind with family, with indoor and outdoor pools, a gym, sauna, and mini soccer field. I'd definitely come back.

The service was awful, and it doesn't seem like the place has been maintained. It used to be good. They even tried to make us leave because the boss “needed” our table.
